MEET THE BOARD:

William Walden

William has been married to Cindy for 20 years and they have 5 children together. He has spent 25-years in sales & marketing and he is a former US Marine. William is also a Bainbridge Kiwanis Board Member and he enjoys working with children.

Frank Brown

»» email Frank Brown

Frank , age 66, is retired from the US Air Force. He has one son Richard. Frank has 45 years of officiating sports. He is a member of the Bainbridge Kiwanis Club, Bainbridge Lions Club, and the American Legion.

Steve & Laura Winburn

»» email Steve & Laura

Steve and Laura Winburn have 5 children and 1 grandchild. They are also foster and adoptive parents. They are both members of The Christian Heritage Church and enjoy spending time with their family and having fun with kids. Steve is a Construction Project Manager for GA's Department of Transportation while Laura is a Physical Therapist who serves as Director of Rehab Services for Memorial Hospital & Manor. Laura is also a board bember of the Decatur County Department of Family & Children Services.

Theodora (Thea) Carter

Theodora Carter received her undergraduate degree from Florida A&M in Criminal Justice with a minor in Social Work. She also has a Master's in Public Administration with a minor in Sociology and a Master's of Education in Counseling PK-12, also from FAMU.

Ms. Carter is also a school counselor in addition to being a mother of two - a daughter, 18, and a son, 12. She also the BYFL cheerleaders, teaches a children's Bible study class and sings in the choir. Her hobbies and interests include sewing, reading, and selling Mary Kay Cosmetics.

Gilbert Valter

Gilberis is married to Rita and they have 8 children. He is a Retired Manager Of Field Service ING Life Of Georgia and he also served in the US Army.. He is now the owner of Southern Heritage Carpet Cleaning.
